2019 Fox Raceway Motocross | How Was Your Weekend 450 Class

Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Eli Tomac rolled into Fox Raceway for round two of the Lucas Oil 450 MX Nationals with a white number-one plate on his KX450 and he wasn’t pleased about it. “I struggled in the first moto at Hangtown,” he admitted. “But I felt great in moto two. I wanna have two solid motos here at Fox.” And he did. Tomac came from behind to win moto one and backed it up with a solid victory in the second race to earn his first win of the season and take control of the red plate. I really like these. I’ve been watching these for years. It’s nice to get a since of how the riders feel after a good or bad day. As for something new or more of I think (if possible of course) maybe like a pre race morning/track walk/pit talk with the riders to see how they’re feeling and what they’re goals for the day are and then do these to see how well they met their goal?
Best part about “how was your weekend” is that after I am done watching the races and press conference I have one more thing to watch! I feel these are more “relaxed interviews” and the true emotions come out in the riders, which is always enjoyable.
