2019 MXGP OF GERMANY | COMPLETE COVERAGE

A three-race run through the month of June for the 2019 Monster Energy FIM Motocross World Championship wraps up this weekend with the 2019 MXGP of Germany, the tenth round of the international championship. The Teutschenthal track is a mainstay stop on the series schedule thanks to its dark, firm dirt and an exciting layout that weaves through the hillside. A number of important moments, from season-changing motos to landmark Motocross of Nations of events, have happened in Germany and we’re sure more will take place over two days of racing.

The entry lists of both classes took hits at the last two rounds and two known race winners, plus a handful of top-10 contenders, are either far from full health or will be missing from the gate in Germany. Have a look below and check back through the weekend for more news from the race.

4. Arnaud Tonus | The Monster Energy Wilvo Yamaha rider has finished on the overall podium in the last four rounds of the series; he’s fifth in the series standings.

Despite winning Moto One, he was ruled unfit to race Moto Two. The team has not released any further information on if he will be able to Germany.

24. Shaun Simpson | A recent hand injury will sideline the RFX KTM rider for an undetermined amount of time.
25. Clement Desalle | A hard crash at the MXGP of Russia left the Monster Energy Kawasaki rider with a broken lower leg; he is out for an undetermined amount of time.
777. Evgeny Bobryshev | The BOS Factory rider suffered a broken lower leg in a crash at the MXGP of Russia. Bobryshev had planned for the Russian race, his home round, to be his last for the year as he was due to undergo surgery for an ongoing wrist injury.
