250 Main Event One

The first triple crown start of the 2020 season went to Alex Martin after Christian Craig was shoved off of the track by Austin Forkner. At the end of the first lap, Austin Forkner made an inside move on Martin for the lead. On the second lap, points leader Justin Cooper went down and was shuffled back to the end of the field. Michael Mosiman and Dylan Ferrandis made their way past Martin and into podium positions. Meanwhile, Christian Craig began to close in on the top-four, despite his first turn incident. And after an amazing run through the whoops, Craig made his way into fourth place. With three minutes to go, the top-four sat with 2-seconds between each other and the race seemed to be just about over, but Ferrandis put in a last-minute charge and shot by Mosiman in the sand. Late in the race, Alex Martin had an issue while running in fifth and went down, dropping him to eighth. With just a few seconds to go, Christian Craig dove to the inside and got around Michael Mosiman for third. Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Austin Forkner snagged the first main event win of the night.

250 Main Event Two

The second 250 start of the night went to Justin Cooper, with Derek Drake and Michael Mosiman trailing. On lap three, Justin Cooper tucked the front end and lost the lead. At nearly the same time, Christian Craig went down hard and was off the track receiving help from the medical crew. After the chaos, Austin Forkner made his way into second place and Dylan Ferrandis made his way into fourth place. With five minutes to go, Mosiman and Ferrandis began trading lines and swapping positions for third. Back up front, Austin Forkner took Drake wide and picked up the lead. It took a few attempts, but Ferrandis was finally able to complete the pass on Mosiman and secured third place. Meanwhile, Justin Cooper sat well outside the top-10. With less than two minutes left on the clock, Ferrandis rocketed by Drake for second place and set his sights on Forkner. There wasn’t enough time for Ferrandis to catch Forkner, so the number-52 Kawasaki snagged his second main event win of the night.

250 Main Event Three

The final 250 main event start of the night went to Martin Castelo, with Justin Cooper and Hartranft trailing. With a great drive through the whoops, Justin Cooper quickly got around Castelo. A lap later, Hartranft, Forkner, and Ferrandis got around Castelo. Dylan Ferrandis dove to the inside of Austin Forkner and executed a perfect pass for third. Just a few laps later, Ferrandis began pressuring Hartranft for second place and ultimately got around the TLD KTM rider. Austin Forkner followed Ferrandis by Hartranft and entered a podium position. Meanwhile, Justin Cooper sat up front with a comfortable lead on the field behind him. Further back in the field, Michael Mosiman began charging through the pack and closer towards Jacob Hayes and the top-5. With a lap to go, Ferrandis was faced with no time to further close in on his teammate, so Justin Cooper took home the final main event win of the night.

450 Main Event One

The first 450 main event start went to Zach Osborne with Eli Tomac and Malcolm Stewart trailing. Ken Roczen quickly got around Stewart and then passed Tomac around the outside of the sand turn. On lap two, Osborne washed out the front end and went down, giving the lead to Roczen. Adam Cianciarulo made his way past Stewart and began reeling in Tomac and Roczen. Meanwhile, Cooper Webb sat outside of the top-10 in 12th place. With six minutes to go, Eli Tomac began to real in Roczen and closed the gap to a half of a second. The battle for the lead was on, the two drag raced down the straights but Kenny was able to hold Tomac off in the corners. Despite the mid-race pressure from Tomac, HRC Honda’s Ken Roczen was able to hold off Tomac and earn the first main event win of the night.

450 Main Event Two

The second 450cc start of the night went to Ken Roczen, after Adam Cianciarulo connected with Bogle, which later resulted in a red flag. The riders went back to the gates and lined up for the restart, as the medical crew tended to Justin Bogle. The restart advantage went to Ken Roczen again, as he was back out front with Cooper Webb and Aaron Plessinger trailing. Adam Cianciarulo wasted no time and quickly got around Plessinger for third. Half of a lap later, Eli Tomac made the move on Plessinger, just as teammate Cianciarulo began pressuring Webb for second. Adam Cianciarulo was able to complete a perfect pass on Cooper Webb, but just a lap later the 450 rookie went down as Eli Tomac got around Webb, and both of them got around AC. Meanwhile, upfront, Ken Roczen led with a comfortable six-second lead on second place. Back down the field, Cianciarulo’s tip-over allowed Anderson to move into fourth, and the Rockstar Husqvarna rider made quick work of Webb for third place. A few minutes later, Blake Baggett then moved past Webb and into fourth place. With one lap to go, Adam Cianciarulo caught up to the back tire of Cooper Webb but wasn’t able to make the pass. Ken Roczen took home another main event win on the night.

450 Main Event Three

The final main event start of the night went to Martin Davalos, with Jason Anderson just behind him. Davalos and Anderson immediately began dueling for the lead, but Jason Anderson made quick work of the Team Tedder rider and began checking out. Unfortunately, Chris Blose went down hard in the whoops and brought out the red flag. Ken Roczen benefited from the restart, as he got the holeshot and the early lead. Jason Anderson and Cooper Webb followed in second and third, while Eli Tomac went down in the second corner. Anderson began pressuring Webb for second place, but Webb was able to respond and regain some tenths on his training partner. Further back in the pack, Malcolm Stewart began pressuring Eli Tomac for sixth place with a great run through the whoops. Eli was able to put some bike lengths back in-between the two and focus ahead. Back up front, Jason Anderson made the pass on Cooper Webb and settled into second place. Adam Cianciarulo began making moves inside the top-five after passing Davalos for fourth. Eli Tomac followed his teammate around Davalos, as the two set their sights on Cooper Webb. Ciaciarulo seemed to have the pass on Webb made, but Cooper squared up the turn and was able to get a great drive out of the corner. A lap later, Cianciarulo completed the pass on Webb in the same section and it stuck. And just a lap later, Adam Cianciarulo went down hard in the whoops, bringing his night to an end. HRC Honda’s Ken Roczen took the third win of the night and swept the triple crown in Glendale.
