As McAdoo took the lead, Ferrandis remounted in seventh-place. Michael Mosiman closed in on McAdoo, went for the pass, but the two got hung-up and both went down. Christian Craig now inherited the lead, as Mosiman remained in second place and McAdoo dropped down to third place.
