2020 Yamaha YZ65 | Track Tested

 
 

In honor of our 2020 Seven Mini Major that is taking place this weekend at Statefair MX, we thought we’d share some mini content to pump up the kids. We recently got our hands on a 2020 Yamaha YZ65 and had youngster Cash Halkyard suit up and put the bike through its paces. Though Cash had never ridden a Yamaha YZ65 before, he seemed to get comfortable almost instantly. Since being introduced in 2018, the Yamaha YZ65 has made quite the impression on the amateur race scene, as it’s easily the most popular 65cc at the races. It’s no question that the YZ65 is the most trick looking bike in its class, but does it outperform the bikes in the field?
