2021 Mini Major East by SEVEN 2 Weeks Away

The 2021 Mini Major East by SEVEN is just two weeks away! This is our second annual East Coast event and we are visiting a brand new location at Monster Mountain MX Park. The Monster Mountain MX Park history is rich and the facility has hosted some great memorable events over the years. The facility itself is making improvements in preparation for the event. The Mini Major is all about giving mini riders a National level experience without the full pressure of chasing titles and without a hammered track from all bike sizes. We look forward to seeing fresh faces and first timers at our events every year. We welcome those riders who are moving up the ranks and not yet at the top competitive level for their age and bike size. That being said we always see some top class riders in attendance of this great event which brings a lot of media coverage.

For our California riders we still have spaces left on the SRD Race Team Transport. The SRD team is taking out the Good Times Racing Team and some siblings, plus some additional riders who have shown interest in making the trip across the country to take some laps on an East Coast track. You can join these riders and make the trip but time is running short. They are taking bikes, gear, tools and a short list of important info. Contact by email [email protected] for all the info.

The Mini Major by SEVEN is much more than a race. When the action on the track stops we focus on activities and events that keep the vibe going. Thursday is pull in day for all riders and Friday is focused on practice. There is no extra fee for racers Practice! Practice Schedule on Friday will begin at 8am. Each group will have a 12 minute session and we will work through the order three times. The order will be as follows: SUBJECT TO CHANGES AS WE GET CLOSER.

After the practice is completed we are going to host a relay race between Father and Son/Daughter. This is going to be a fun opportunity for family to ride the track together with riders changing every lap but racing on the same bike! No doubt chaos will ensue in the rider exchange and that is where the fun will be. On the pre registration page there is a area to sign up for this fun event and we have an open 65 and 85 classes for riders and parents to participate.

Media Coverage is a huge part of the event as well and we are excited to have Swapmoto Live on site doing daily posts with pics and video from the event. Several riders will be asked to come into the Swapmoto Live Studio for interviews and race reports. The team from Swapmoto Live posts massive photo galleries online for free download. Also in attendance covering the event and selling swag will be vurbmoto! Vurb will be covering the event like only they can and posting a event wrap up after the weekend along with photos and videos including a track preview.

Saturday and Sunday are full days of motos! Each day will consist of one moto for all classes and the overall Champions will be decided by your standard two moto format scores. Saturday night we will host the STACYC GROMCROSS race on a specially build track! Bring your STACYC bike to participate and join in on the fun. We will have multiple age classes for 12″ and 16″ bikes. So if your little one isn’t yet on the moto track make sure to bring their STACYC and join in the fun #ridesooner.

On top of that all racers will receive an event shirt free! We make some awesome trophies for the top finishers through 5th place. Our entire staff is excited to help you have a great experience.
