2021 UNADILLA MOTOCROSS | COMPLETE COVERAGE
A hand injury forced Jo Shimoda to DNF 250 Moto Two at the 2021 Unadilla Motocross, but fortunately, the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki rider suffered no major damage. Shimoda tagged one of the track’s trademark barrel trackmarkers in the early moments of the day’s last Moto, got lapped by the leaders a few times, and soon withdrew from the race due to the pain.
“Except the starts speed and fitness was good but on the second moto I hit my hand on the barrier and couldn’t hang on to the bike to finish the moto,” said Shimoda on Instagram. “Luckily nothing is broken just in pain.”
7-36 scores put Shimoda 16th overall at Unadilla; he is currently ranked in sixth place in the 250 Class championship standings.
