Daytona International Speedway has released the track map for the 2022 Daytona Supercross, a 0.625-mile layout drawn up by five-time race winner Ricky Carmichael. Organized and promoted by the Florida racing group (hence the independent release from Feld’s September previews), the race will serve as round nine of the 2022 Monster Energy Supercross Championship, with the 450 Class and 250 East Coast Region on the starting line.

Carmichael-created courses have become a staple of the Daytona Supercross, and each year seems to be a step better than the previous. The 2022 layout will have long lanes on one half of the infield, tighten up with switchback corners and  an over-under bridge on the other, and a finish line even with super speedway’s flag stand.
