2024 ANAHEIM ONE SUPERCROSS | COMPLETE COVERAGE
At last, the 2024 Monster Energy Supercross Championship is officially underway, as round one is in progress following this morning’s qualifying sessions. Riders took to the Anaheim One course just a few moments ago for their timed-qualifying practices. Just hundredths of a second split the front-runners in both the 250SX West and 450SX classes. Here’s a look at the fastest qualifiers and some information on how their qualifying sessions went in Anaheim!
250 WEST REGION | REPORT & RESULTS
Levi Kitchen improved each time he touched the track, as the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki rider topped the charts in the 250SX West division. The Chef logged a 1:01.398 in the final session of timed-qualifying and would be the first fastest qualifier of the 2024 season.
The veteran was just behind, as Rj Hampshire trailed Kitchen throughout the final session of qualifying and ultimately landed the second fastest lap time. The Rockstar Energy Husqvarna racer laid down a 1:01.607 in that final session of practice.
The rookie, Julien Beaumer, topped the charts in each of the ‘group B’ qualifying sessions and ultimately landed in third place on the time sheets. After logging a 1:01.911, we’d say JuJu is heading towards a solid rookie debut.
Privateer Dylan Walsh had a tough get-off in the first timed session of qualifying. After endo-ing over the triple-in, following the finish line; Dylan was slow to get up and ultimately rode back to the pits after nursing his arm.

450 CLASS | REPORT & RESULTS
450SX rookie Jett Lawrence topped the charts in each of his qualifying sessions. The Team Honda HRC racer laid down a blistering fast 1:00.686 in the final session of practice to claim the top spot on the time sheets. Jett was also the lone racer to 5-out of the rhythm before the whoops. Though, Jett’s competition inched closer to him in the final qualifying session.
Chase Sexton improved each time he hit the track and ultimately landed the second fastest lap time in the 450SX class. The RedBull KTM Factory Racing rider logged a 1:00.729 in the final session of timed qualifying and trailed Jett Lawrence’s best time by less than a hundredth of a second.
Cooper Webb is looking much more comfortable on his Monster Energy/Star Racing/Yamaha YZ450F since the last time we saw him, as he laid down the third best time in the 450SX class. Webb’s 1:00.748 put him right in the mix, building the anticipation for tonight’s racing even more.
