Defending WSX World Champion Ken Roczen dominated today’s qualifying session inside BC Place Stadium. The Suzuki rider turned in the session’s fastest lap early on, then improved upon it a few laps later. A mechanical issue kept Eli Tomac off the track until the final five minutes, but the Yamaha rider went straight to work and logged the second-quickest lap, ahead of Joey Savatgy, who waited until the last minute to log his hot lap.
