2025 Indianapolis Supercross | Qualifying Report

The East coast stretch of the 2025 Monster Energy Supercross Championship and the 2025 SuperMotocross World Championship continues on, as the ninth race day of the season is officially in progress following this morning’s qualifying sessions. Riders took to the unique course that fills the inside of Lucas Oil Stadium just a few moments ago for their timed-qualifying practices; which were even more significant for the 250SX West and East racers, as this is the first Showdown race of the year. Just hundredths of a second split the front-runners in the 250SX East, 250SX West, and 450SX classes. Here’s a look at the fastest qualifiers and some information on how their qualifying sessions went at Indy!

Current red-plate holder and Championship points leader Haiden Deegan came out swinging in Timed-Qualifying, as he logged the quickest lap time of the field – an impressive 49.044. Monster Energy/Star Racing/Yamaha teammate Cole Davies trailed on the leaderboards with a 49.617, the second fastest lap time. Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Julien Beaumer rounded out the top-3 in 250SX West qualifying with a 50.164.

250SX East

Seth Hammaker was the man to beat in the 250SX East division in this mornings Timed-Qualifying sessions, as he topped the charts with an impressive 49.288. Current red plate holder and East coast championship points leader Max Anstie was next on the leaderboards, with a 49.946 as his best time. And Tom Vialle just edged out Austin Forkner as the third fastest rider in the field with a 49.956.

450SX

Ken Roczen was the man to beat in 450SX Timed Qualifying inside Lucas Oil Stadium. The Progressive/HEP/Suzuki rider laid down an impressive 48.728 on the technical course, which became untouchable. Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s Malcolm Stewart was the next name on the time sheets, as sat in second place on the leaderboards with a 48.767. Chase Sexton rounded out the top-3 in 450SX Timed Qualifying with a 48.784.
