Earlier this week we were given the chance to stop by CAKE’s dealership in Stockholm, Sweden. Inside the “ride site” is every model of the electric motorcycles, from the off-road ready Kalk to the Makka urban commuter, an accessory shop, a service center for current owners to maintain their machines, and fleet of test bikes for prospective buyers to try. Interested in seeing the bikes, but far from Scandinavia? Similar shops are now open in London, Paris, Milan, and Venice Beach.

CAKE Brand Manager Karl Ytterborn was our guide at the Stockholm site, and during our half-hour tour, he took us through the lineup of bikes, explained the ethos of the company, the meaning of the name, and their plans to improve sustainability in production and riding.
