Yesterday, the motocross media was invited to help celebrate 50 years of Suzuki RM motocross machines at Perris Raceway alongside some legends of the Yellow Magic brand. It was super cool to hang out and reminisce with racing legends like Brad Lackey, George Holland, Tim Ferry, Damon Huffman, and Buddy Antunez, as well as Suzuki brass such as Pat Alexander, Larry Brooks, Dustin Pipes, Hide Sezaki, and more! At the day’s end, we were grouped into five teams for an eight-lap race on our new 2025 RM-Z450 test bikes, quizzed on our knowledge of Suzuki racing history, and judged on our decade-appropriate riding apparel. Needless to say, Team SML came away with the victory! Here’s what went down at one super-fun and enjoyable day!
