El Dorado | Round Three | Honolulu Hills

Round 3 of the El Dorado Series by AMSOIL saw the series head north to Taft Ca for Honolulu Hills ran by Jeff Reynolds. The track features some of the largest GP races of the year but has recently built a separate Main and Vet track that can manage the Swapmoto Race Series two track format.

Although there was a threat of rain racers only saw a few drops hit the ground for a short period of time. The race schedule was completed early and families had a little extra time to arrive in the morning due to a 9am practice start. It was great to see a new crop of racers from Pismo, Bakersfield and other surrounding cities. We look forward to everyone joining us for the final round at Cahuilla Creek MX on March 16th.

If you are new to the series be aware that we have tons of giveaways to riders at the final and will be pooling our sponsors to share in some swag that will get you to the next event stoked! The next series kicks off at Sunfair 42 in Joshua Tree as we are happy to host their first race ever at the new facility! Get out there and get some practice before the race. Track prep at Sunfair is great and challenging so get out to see it before the race. Also don’t forget the Mini Monsters rescheduled date on April 24-27. Super disappointing to see other promoters playing games and adding double points to their competing round during this event but that’s how they roll… When the make up date was chosen for this event there was no conflict on their website.
