Fox Racing Friday | Travis Preston

Presented by Fox Racing

In 2002, Travis Preston earned the Western Regional 125cc Supercross Championship aboard a Honda CR125R, besting a young James Stewart for the crown after a great, season-long battle. A few years later, in 2006, Preston was a member of the factory Honda race team, mounted aboard a booming CRF450R, and decked out in Fox Racing apparel. Throughout his career, Preston was a fan favorite as his tell-it-like-it-is podium speeches and interviews with the press were often humorous and entertaining. Dubbed “Mr. T” – for Travis – by one of his high-desert riding buddies back in the day, Preston’s moniker took on a whole new life when it was discovered by the media.
Now a critical player in the development of Yamaha motocross bikes, Preston was on hand earlier this week when SML took delivery of our 2020 Yamaha YZ450F test bike, and we thought it would be an opportunity to create a unique feature for this week’s Fox Racing Friday. Enjoy!

Fox Racing Product of the Week

Fox Racing Honda Flexair Gear

Price: $79.95 (jersey); $229.95 (pant); $29.95 (Airline glove)

Along the lines of Travis Preston’s 2006 Fox Racing Honda pants that we saw in the video above, we wanted to point out the 2020 Fox Racing Honda Flexair kit, which is officially licensed by Honda and available now. Flexair is the pinnacle in Fox Racing’s line of riding apparel, as it is built to offer complete mobility, lightweight, and superior ventilation. If you have never ridden in a set of Fox Racing Flexair gear trust us; it’s like riding in nothing at all as it is athletically fit and constructed of all-way stretch materials in the proper ergonomic riding position.

If you want to learn more about Fox Racing’s MX20 offerings – including the badass Flexair apparel – we put together this video with Fox Racing’s Mark Finley…
