AMSOIL Fall Classic Race Series | Round One | Glen Helen Raceway

And we’re off! The 2019 AMSOIL Swapmoto Fall Classic series is officially underway, as we kicked things off at the iconic Glen Helen Raceway, this past weekend. With temperatures in the high-60’s and a slight breeze, we can say with confidence that the Swapmoto race series has not experienced such perfect weather conditions. Along with the amazing weather, the race series experienced yet another massive turnout, as well-over 500 racers and their families came out to the San Bernardino facility for an exciting day at the races. Eager racers, enthusiastic spectators, and great weather; what a perfect way to kick off the 2019 AMSOIL Fall Classic series!

We mentioned the large turnout that the series opener experienced, which contributed directly to the stacked gates in nearly each class. One particular class that held more entires than usual was the 125cc Open class, that’s right, 1-2-5! More screaming small-bore two strokes on the gate, how could that not amp you up? Fifteen crackling 125s racing up and down the hills of Glen Helen, and man was it exciting. As for the top contenders, the front of the pack was littered with white fenders, as Brock Bennett led the field, followed by Blake Gardner. Despite some pass attempts, the top-five remained in their order for a majority of the race and Brock Bennett would ultimately dominate the 125cc Open class with two moto wins. The 125cc master went on to snag another two race wins and sweep the School Boy (125/250F) class.

We’ve mentioned him before, and we’re going to mention him again. Swapmoto race series regular Jeff Loop was at it again at round one of the AMSOIL Fall Classic series. The vet racer not only lined up for the 30+ Pro motos, but also took a shot at the youngsters in the Pro Open (125-450) class. Two seemingly flawless motos against the other vet racers awarded Jeff the dominating overall win in the 30+ Pro class, following his 1-1 performance. Then, after fending off Todd Sibell, Loop managed to walk away with the overall win in the Pro Open(125-450) class, after taking the win in the second moto.

Is it just me or is there an issue with the pictures? Have not raced the swap series before but did with Transworld and the picture format was better back then, it was broken down by motos. No complaints just seeing if I am the only one with the issue?

I have the same issue viewing the pictures. Seems very random. I know they had this issue several races back but thought it got fixed.
