AMSOIL EL’ DORADO SERIES | ROUND THREE | LACR
We are officially through the majority of the AMSOIL El’ Dorado race series, as round three took place this past weekend at Los Angeles County Raceway. Hundreds of racers traveled to the popular facility in Palmdale, CA for an exciting day at the races. With epic track conditions, perfect weather, and enthusiastic racers; round three of the AMSOIL El’ Dorado race series was one for the books. We hope to see you in just a few days at Perris Raceway, as round four of the Swapmoto race series takes place on Sunday, February 23rd!
There were a few familiar faces to the AMSOIL El’ Dorado race series at LACR, such as Yuki Okura. Yuki raced with us at State Fair MX, where he battled for a podium position in the Pro Open (125-450) class. At round three of the series, Yuki Okura improved on his results by sweeping both of the classes he contended in. The racer out of Osaka, Japan dominated the Pro 250F and Pro Open (125-450) classes with ease. Nice ride, Yuki!
The number-34 machine of Hunter Garcia made his presence known at round three of the AMSOIL Swapmoto race series, after dominating in both the Novice 250F and School Boy (125/250F) classes. The rider out of Carpinteria, CA swept both of the classes he raced and went home with 4 moto wins. Hunter has been a regular to the El’ Dorado series and his consistent podium finishes put him in the points lead in both of his classes.
Peyton Marks had arguably the most dominant day of all, as he lined up six different times and walked away with a moto win all six of those times. The youngster contested in the 14-16 years 85/150F, Open 85-150F/Supermini, and the Big Wheel Open 85/150F classes. Peyton races his supermini to six different moto wins and a total of three overall class victories. Way to go, Peyton!
