Fifteen-year-old Nick Romano signed with the Monster Energy/Star Racing/Yamaha team after a successful showing at last year’s Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National, and the New Yorker relocated to SoCal to live and train with the team. Romano has made a spectacular transition to big bikes, and dominated the 250 Intermediate and Open Non-Pro classes at last weekend’s AMSOIL West Coast Open at Perris Raceway.
