Beta USA announced Colt Nichols will be part of its factory endeavor into the 450 Class of the Monster Energy Supercross Championship.

The effort, officially known as the Liqui Moly Beta Racing Team, will have Nichols and Benny Bloss aboard the RX450, a new motocross-specific model from the Italian OEM, through the 2024 and 2025 race seasons.

Former pro racer Carlen Gardner has spent the last two years helping the project come together in his role as Team Manager, and with both of the rider spots filled, the attention will turn to the first preseason tests, which are scheduled to happen in August.

We learned plenty about the new program from Nichols during an episode of the SML Show that will be posted next week, but here are some of the essential details about his two-year agreement, the company and race team, and the still-to-be-released motorcycle.
