Tickletime is on hold. One week after returning to competition after serving an 18-month FIM-WADA suspension, Broc Tickle is on the sidelines with a broken hand. The JGRMX/Yoshimura/Suzuki Factory Racing rider collided with another rider in the early laps of 450 Race One at the 2020 Arlington Supercross and as soon as the run-in was over, he walked off the track and to the medics.

After a few days to get proper exams and X-rays, Tickle has confirmed that he suffered broken bones in his left hand that will require some time off of the bike to properly let things heal, but he hopes to return to action before the end of the 2020 Monster Energy Supercross Series.

This is an unfortunate incident for the rider and team, two groups that have gone through more than there share of struggles in the last few months. Tickle was only able to line up for one 450 Class Main Event following his extended absence from racing, while the JGRMX team is back without a rider in the premier class; original riders Joey Savatgy is still on the mend from his ankle injury suffered in Australia late last year and Fredrik Noren will spend the two months recovering from a broken lower leg.

It has been awesome being back at the races and thankful for the opportunities that have put myself back behind the gate. After getting X-Rays on Monday, I’m going to miss some races and be back as soon as I’m healed up. As I make progress and have more of a timeline for when I’ll be back at the races I’ll keep you guys updated. Obviously, I’m bummed but, always could be worse. I’m thankful and grateful for the support of everyone that has welcomed me back behind the gate. 🙏🏼🙌🏼 @jgrmx @yoshimura_rd @suzukicycles @fxrmoto @alpinestarsmx @scottmotosports @hartluckcbd @socalsupertrucks @protaper @pirellimx @fueloffroad @taggerdesigns @wristbraceguy
