Checking in With Carter Dubach

Presented by O’Neal

Carter Dubach is the son of motocross legend Doug Dubach, and although he’s ridden and raced most of his life thus far, he’s never really had lofty professional racing ambitions and is instead pursuing a career as a commercial airline pilot. This past summer, though, the second-generation rider got the racing bug and decided. to see if he could race at the highest levels before starting his professional life as a pilot. Carter turned pro, earned his AMA Pro transfer points at carious amateur nationals, then proceeded to race the first three 250 MX Nationals of 2023. We caught up with Carter today at Glen Helen Raceway where he – like his dad before him – was putting in some testing laps with the Yamaha crew.
