It had been a while since we last talked to Cooper Webb. Sure, we got in some questions during the post-race press conferences that closed out the 2020 Monster Energy Supercross Series, but the struct social distancing rules in Utah kept us from getting any one-on-one time with the Red Bull KTM rider. As soon as the SX season wrapped up, Webb turned his attention towards getting ready for the 2020 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship, first by testing with the race team in California and then by training with everyone on Aldon’s Baker program in Florida.
We made a quick trip to the Sunshine State to watch the finale of Webb’s “2 For 2” video series this week and spent a few minutes chatting with Webb about his thoughts on the 2020 SX season, his results in Utah, his outlook for the summer series, and a handful of other topics.
