CHECKING IN WITH

Checking in with James Stewart Sr.

Share

Presented by Dunlop

When it comes to parents in the professional Supercross pits, you’d be hard-pressed to find someone more entertaining to chat with than James Stewart Sr. Through the years, Big James saw his eldest son James Jr. change the sport forever with his trademark Bubba Scrub, and make history as the first African American to win a major AMA Championship. A few years later, he helped guide his youngest son Malcolm to a championship as well, and today he admits that he’s a little more relaxed at the racetrack with only Malc racing. We caught up with Big James before the Anaheim One night show to see how he compares the careers of his two sons, who he thinks has more talent, who he worries more about, and much, much more. Enjoy!
