Jordon Smith’s 2022 program seems tailor-made for the 250 East Region rider. Although a few rough years led to a departure from the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki squad, Smith landed a spot on the Fire Power Honda squad, an independent team that moved its headquarters to the Millsaps Training Facility in Georgia, his home for the last decade. The team and rider have shown plenty of promise in recent rounds, with Smith leading laps on the Twisted Development/Factory Connection-tuned CRF250 while the Australian-owned effort builds in the United States.
