Checking in With Pablo Toribio

Presented by O’Neal

If you’re. a hardcore fan of motocross and Supercross racing, you may remember Pablo Toribio as a personal trainer who worked with names like Jessica Patterson, Justin Barcia, Davi Millsaps, and even James Stewart during his JGR Yamaha days. Seven years ago, Pablo left his home in New York City and moved to Sentosa Beach, Singapore, with his wife who had been offered a high-profile banking job there. It didn’t take long for Toribio to miss riding his dirt bike, and when he discovered that he had to travel to nearby Malaysia to do so, he decided to do something about it. Unbelievably,  he struck a deal with the Shangri La Sentosa Beach Resort to build a motocross track right on the sand of the beach! This weekend is the second round of the three-race Singapore MX Beach Race Series, and SML traveled to the other side of the globe to check out our Kickstart Podcast co-host Alex Ray in action, where he has won once before, years ago. We caught up with Pablo today to see how he pulled it all off.
