Rain hammered SoCal last week and rendered Supercross tracks unrideable but that – coupled with the mandatory break in Supercross racing anyway – gave teams and riders and excuse to get a head start on some testing for this summer’s MX Nationals. MX Heaven is motocross vacation business that caters largely to Swedish vacationers, and on the facility’s property is a large natural-terrain motocross track that is amazing after a few days of rain. Today, the Monster Energy/Star Racing/Yamaha team converged on Stefan Elvin’s private track to get some practice and testing done. Colt Nichols has recently returned to action after suffering a torn-up shoulder and broken foot in a pre-season crash, but he’s already looking quite speedy on his Yamaha YZ250F. We captured one raw lap of Nichols on the MX Heaven track…what do you think of the layout?
