One thing is for sure: Shane McElrath, Broc Tickle, Benny Bloss, and Vince Friese are set to have a good time in 2021!
The SmarTop/Bullfrog Spas/Honda team has a new look for 2021 with three new members and a head-to-toe deal with apparel manufacturer Leatt. Tea veteran Vince Friese is joined this year by former Western Regional 250 SX Champion Broc Tickle, rising star Benny Bloss, and 450-class rookie Shane McElrath. The chemistry that the team has is obvious, and the four riders could be found across SoCal this winter testing and training in preparation for the 2021 Monster Energy Supercross Championship.
While Vince Friese will campaign the team’s only 2021 Honda CRF450R and help develop the race bike for the 2022 series, Shane McElrath, Broc Tickle, and Benny Bloss will field the team’s tried-and-true 2020 CRF450R race bikes. All three new team members have commented on how impressive the machines are.
Shane McElrath’s race bike will be tuned by Aaron Mrozek.
Broc Tickle’s machine will be tuned by Nick McCampbell.
Benny Bloss’ bike will be tuned by Alex Harris.
Vince Friese’s race bike will be tuned by Ryan Tosta.
The team is joined by transport driver Don “Cooler” Ruiz, Motoconcepts art director Lee Albrecht, and Team Manager Tony Alessi.
Get my Bullfrog spa this month (ordered in July). Purchased this hot tub vs the others because of their support for mx and they seem to have some great technology. Please keep this team alive.
Also really pulling for Tickle me Elmo to make some strides this year.
