On Monday, we caught up with Monster Energy Kawasaki’s newest 450 racer Adam Cianciarulo for the Ogio How Was Your Weekend Podcast. During our conversation, AC told us that he had a very set of Fox Racing retro gear for this weekend’s Monster Energy Cup in Las Vegas, Nevada, but he wouldn’t divulge much else. A few days later, we were near the Fox Racing HQ in Irvine, California, so we paid a visit to Global Marketing Manager Mark Finley and asked for a sneak peek.
The Special Edition Castr 180 Gear that AC will compete in is a throwback to the 1991 Image Racewear, including the Coolmax Jersey, which featured a before-its-time athletic cut and molded foam padding on the elbows. Every detail of the gear that AC will wear is nearly identical, save for the modern materials and cut, and it is available for sale today, Friday, October 18.
