It’s Time For the 2025 Birmingham Supercross | SML Newsbreak

The long off weekend of the 2025 Monster Energy Supercross season is behind us as the series heads inside Protective Stadium in Birmingham, Alabama this weekend to kick off the second half.
This is of course the second time Supercross has raced inside Protective Stadium after the inaugural visit last year. Jett Lawrence and Tom Vialle won a rain soaked Birmingham Supercross last year, so for every rider, this will be their first dry race in Birmingham.
The weather looks great right now and will remain that way into tomorrow night with no rain in the forecast and sunshine all the way through.
The big news of the week centers around Christian Craig’s return to racing with Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing. Craig tore his ACL and meniscus in SMX last September and had surgery in the offseason. He’s been riding for a while but was metered with his expectations when we spoke with him today.
Cooper Webb leads the 450 standings by 15 points coming off the break and is confident following a string of podiums and wins. Chase Sexton remains second in the standings as he looks to chip away the points lead in the second half.
Tom Vialle leads the 250 East standings by one point over Max Anstie, but don’t forget that Seth Hammaker and RJ Hampshire sit just 11 and 12 points back, respectively.
Tomorrow night will be the third and final triple crown race of 2025, though it will be the first and only one for the 250 East boys. Birmingham will also feature the third SMX Next race of the year as Landen Gordon has swept the first two and is looking to win again tomorrow night.
That’s the news heading into Round 10, let’s go chat with some riders from press day!

When I originally commented I clicked the -Notify me when new comments are added- checkbox and now each time a comment is added I get four emails with the same comment. Is there any way you can remove me from that service? Thanks!

I do trust all the concepts you’ve presented to your post. They are really convincing and will certainly work. Still, the posts are very quick for novices. May you please extend them a bit from next time? Thanks for the post.
