Last week a box full of Leatt’s 2020 motocross gear landed at our office door. Leatt made its name with safety products like the original Leatt Brace, some of the first CE certified body armor pieces, a highly-engineered helmet, and innovative knee braces, so their recent efforts have been directed at breaking into the riding gear market. Apparel is one of the trickier segments in the motocross industry to make money it and a company has to have an innovative approach if they want to succeed. Leatt makes use of durable and stretchable fabrics, true to form cuts, and attention-getting designs that set it apart from the others in the sector.
Another big addition for 2020 was a high-end goggle with an injected molded lens and necessary features like multi-stage foam, a wide strap, and face-fitting design.
