Okay, my wife has a rule about me riding motorcycles within a week of a family vacation, and it’s for good reason: I’ve gone to Japan with a cast on my wrist, Mexico in a collarbone brace, Spain with a torn ACL, and Costa Rica with six broken ribs. Heck, one time I broke my lower leg (fibula) two days before another Japan trip, cut my cast off before I got home, duct-taped the shit out of my calf and shin, and limped around Tokyo without telling her. Anyway, the point is that our family went to spend the days before and after New Year’s Day in Apple Valley, Utah, where we stayed in what was essentially a log cabin for the holiday, so I was grounded from my dirt bike from Monday through Saturday. Haha! When we returned to SoCal, my best friend Kyle and I raced the Happy New Year Grand Prix at Glen Helen, and it was absolutely, positively, the best GP course layout I’ve ever ridden at the facility. Thank you to each and every one of you who supports our efforts at SwapmotoLive.com. Last year, we made steady gains and have become recognized as one of the top motocross content producers. Living the dream! Have a great year, all!
