Man, road trips are a blast but they can sure kick your ass! After testing the 2021 Honda CRF450R at Glen Helen, Chase Curtis, Steve Emter and I loaded up the SML Sprinter and pinned it to Moab, Utah, to hang with Jeremy McGrath at the GFE Beatdown as he raced his Kawasaki KRX 1000 Teryx. MC finally coerced me into riding shotgun in his car as he took a sighting lap, and even at a snail’s pace he scared the crap out of me! Of course, we all took out mountain bikes with us and enjoyed three epic days on the Utah trails. And there was that tequila incident that we don’t want to talk about…haha!
