The end of the year is often the busiest time of the year for moto journalists in SoCal, as teams and riders are converged on our area testing and training for the upcoming Supercross season. I spent the first part of December wide open, often visiting two or three private Supercross tracks per day in a quest to capture content for our readers/viewers, and to put it simply…I needed a vacation! The fam and I packed our bags and headed to Japan on Christmas Day and spent a week with our youngest daughter Megan, who is studying abroad in her senior year of college. Seven fun-filled days later, we flew home on New Year’s Day and I got right back to it, as Anaheim 1 was only a couple days later.
*minutes 4-12 are in Japan…my feelings won’t be hurt if you fast forward to the dirt bike stuff. haha!
