The past week has been a rollercoaster of emotions. While it was great to get home after three weeks in Salt Lake City, the first thing I did was spend my first day home in three different doctor’s offices, thanks to the big crash in had on my mountain bike at the end of my stay in SLC. First came the acupuncturist, followed by a visit to my great friend Dr. Brad Baum to x-ray my neck before visiting my chiropractor, Dr. Anthony Pirrotano. X-rays revealed a clay shoveler’s fracture in my C7 vertebrae, but ironically Dr. Baum didn’t think that it was new! He gave me the green light to get adjusted, and I’ve spent much of the past week in and out of acupuncture and chiropractic offices, trying to get better so I can ride again. We also filmed five SML Shows, then headed to the TransAm Vet Classic at Glen Helen. Lots of fun, even though I didn’t get to race..
