Another week without being able to ride on two wheels has passed, but after a 4 am visit to the emergency room I was able to get an MRI and a definitive diagnosis on my neck injury. Compressed C5, C6 and C7 vertebrae are the cause of the nerve pain in my arm, and thanks to some nerve pain meds I was able to get to the track to hang out on a couple of occasions last week. Justin Fiero at GoPro sent me the new GoPro MAX camera so I got to play with that a little bit at both Glen Helen and Perris Raceway, where over 600 people showed up to race the second round of the AMSOIL Swapmoto Race Series West Coast Open. Crazy, in the 107-degree heat!
Anyway, here’s to a better week ahead and some important doctor visits!
