As the Salt Lake City Supercross Marathon wound down, the racing on the track stayed just as amazing as it had started. Likewise, the guys and I didn’t let up on our time on the trails in between races, and the time we spent mountain biking the trails of Utah was downright amazing. Of course, I had to go and jinx myself by declaring Friday’s ride quite possible my last, as my wife and kids flew out later that day to spend Father’s Day with me and also to accompany me on the nine-hour drive home to SoCal. There’s a valuable lesson here, folks. Never say, “One more lap,” or anything of the sort…say “two more,” then bitch out on the last one. Haha!
