Sure, we have 24 AMSOIL Swapmoto Race Series events each year, but my favorite race is still the Day in the Dirt Grand Prix, held over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Last year, I missed out on the action because I broke my right hand and had it surgically repaired a couple of weeks earlier, and that means that I am looking forward to the 2024 running of DITD even more than usual! Much of my recent activities have been geared towards this weekend’s racing. Did I prepare well enough? To quote #MTBen, “The less prepared you are for Day in the Dirt, the better you do.” Haha!
