I have to admit that for as much as I love my mountain bikes, life without moto in it is pretty damned boring. Since suffering a concussion at Day in the Dirt, I’ve been struggling with some inner ear problems that have thrown my balance slightly off, and also affected my hearing. Oddly enough, the doctors I saw said it is allergies and unrelated to whacking my head, but my chiropractor says there is a definite connection. Who knows? Either way, my wife grounded me from all two-wheeled activity for two weeks and to be honest there was nothing worth documenting during my quiet time as I spent most of my days at home, sulking. Haha! I tried to ride moto in the week in this vlog, but my out-of-balance hearing made me feel a little wonky so I just hung out and talked shit to my friends instead. Next week’s episode sees a lot of progress, though, and I’m glad to say that life has nearly returned to normal again! Thanks for watching and have a Merry Christmas!
