Life on Two Wheels Vlog | Scrub Daddy Down

Presented by Bell Helmets

Motocross is a dangerous sport, and we all understand the risks involved every time we throw a leg over our bikes. In this installment of the Bell Helmets Life on Two Wheels Vlog, our dear friend Brian “Scrub Daddy” Smith went down hard and suffered a traumatic brain injury that saw him transported via helicopter out of Cahuilla Creek MX. The days that followed had what seemed like the entire motocross community on edge, praying for and thinking positive thoughts for our friend. On a personal level, Scrub is one of my closest friends and in the early days that followed his crash, I admit to really fearing that we had lost him on a substantial level. As time has passed, however, he has continued to improve. As of August 22, I really believe that he will make a miraculous recovery and return to his normal hilarious self. Will he still ride motocross? Some around him want him to give it up, but I’ve already heard him vow to return to the saddle of his bike. Let’s hope so. I need him at the track!
