Last weekend, my buddy Mattia talked me into signing up for the 3 Bros KTM Six-Hour Endurance Race at Glen Helen Raceway. Truth be told, I’ve done a fair share of GP races at Glen Helen, but only when rain precedes the event. Racing in the dust is last on my list of things I like to do but racing in prime conditions is right at the top, and the skies dumped in the days preceding the big race so I agreed. We had a 2025 KTM 350 XC-F sitting in the SML office for a couple of months just waiting to be tested, so I recruited my pal Jason to complete our three-man team and we were set!
Now that nearly a week has passed and my body has stopped hurting I can look back and say that it was a good time, but I do think that the days before the race I spent riding my mountain bike with friends may have been safer and more enjoyable. Haha!
