FXR/Chaparral/Honda made it through 2020 intact. Despite a mid-season lineup change and ongoing pandemic, Michael Lindsay’s independently-funded effort fulfilled the year one obligations of putting more red bikes on the track and scoring points in both AMA championships. Recent changes to Honda’s 250 Class efforts earned the FXR/Chaparral/Honda team increased support for 2021 and beyond, something that is reflected in the personnel (Carson Mumford and Coty Schock as racers, Richard “Pedro” Sterling and Tony Archer as mechanics) and the technical programs (part budgets, new sponsors, refined engine and chassis). Michael Antonovich discussed the recent changes and offseason work with Lindsay in this episode of the Swapmoto Podcast.
