Ryan Dungey is making the most of his retired life. The multi-time Supercross and motocross champion moved back to his native Minnesota shortly after his last gate drop and spent the last few years starting a family and establishing his RD Coffee business.

When Justin Brayton invited him to hang out at Riverside Raceway in Iowa for one of the spring’s big events, Dungey made the quick trip to one of the tracks he raced as an amateur and caught up with riders and families that he grew up racing with.

During some downtime at the event, we caught up with RD5 and talked about returning to his roots, what made him consider racing professionally again, and how he likes his coffee.
