2022 AMA AMATEUR NATIONAL MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP | COMPLETE COVERAGE

Ryan Holiday knows Loretta Lynn’s Ranch. Dozens of visits to the Tennessee property, first as a racer and now as manager of Kawasaki Team Green’s amateur program, have helped Holiday figure out things like how the track will break down after thousands of laps or what the weather will do in the valley. This year’s race was a challenge for everyone on the start, but KX-mounted riders still came through to win important motos and classes at the 2022 AMA Amateur National Motocross.

During downtime on Saturday, we chatted with Holiday about ways the Ranch has changed over the years, what the flood did to the property, how competitive the current crop of riders are, and what Supercross Futures, Moto Combines, and marquee events will do for the future of amateur racing.
