Seth Hammaker Out For 2023 Los Angeles SMX

Seth Hammaker will unfortunately miss the final round of SuperMotocross after a hard crash in Friday’s final free practice session. The Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki rider was looking speedy before mis-timing the rhythm before the triple jump. After going long on the table, Seth was sent into the face of the triple-jump in an endo. He then rocketed into the air without his bike and hit the ground in a seated position.
Seth was alert and awake, but looked to be complaining of his tailbone, lower back, area. The Alpinestars medic unit then placed him on a backboard for safety precaution and transported him out of the stadium. This leaves the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki squad with just Jo Shimoda and Ryder DiFrancesco on the line, as Carson Mumford and Austin Forkner have elected to not race the final races of the 2023 season for separate reasons. Here’s to hoping for a quick recovery for Seth Hammaker!
