Ted Parks spent the last 18 years following the Monster Energy Supercross Championship and Pro Motocross Championship with his wife, family, and their many friends in the pit area. The original man in the cowboy hat has helped everyone at some point or another, and the Privateer Journey made sure a rotation roster of independent racers had what they needed at every round, from a place to pit to a place to sleep, and a connection to some of the biggest sponsors in the industry.
But it’s time for Ted to return home to Texas to take care of his family, and the 2024 Ironman Motocross marked the final event of the TPJ program in its current capacity. Enjoy retirement, Ted.
