Test Days at Glen Helen

It’s well known that a number of season-ending injuries in 2018 were caused by factory riders practicing on the same track as your average Joe, and it’s because of those unfortunate mishaps that some teams no longer ride on public ride days. However, the manufacturers have been working together and renting out Glen Helen Raceway for private test days exclusive to the factory riders. This week, we were fortunate enough to join the teams at Glen Helen and shoot some footage of the stopwatch nationals. Though we couldn’t shoot every rider, as some were logging in some top-secret testing, we managed to put together this video of a majority of the riders, enjoy!

I like this type of coverage. It’s awesome to see what the factory teams are up to when you can’t see them on TV during an off weekend.
I thinks it’s a great idea to separate the pros from the joes. It not only keeps everyone safe (pros and joes) but it also creates some great racing for the motocross season with less chance of injury.
Any track that has a bunch of pros coming out for testing should have split practice. Great Video!

As an Aussie visiting the USA…this is quite buzz to see all the pro’s in action at GH.
You guys should should take the raw, leftover footage (if there is any) and give us an unedited compilation every so often. The raw stuff never gets old.
Love that we can see and hear what goes on behind the scenes. The general public really has no clue until you guys start doing these pod casts
