Bell Moto 9 Carbon Flex

The buzz words these days when it comes to motocross helmets are “rotational impact protection.” Instead of simply adding the Swedish MIPS technology into the Bell Moto 9 Carbon (coincidentally, Bell is a part-owner or MIPS), the engineers at Bell took things a step further with its exclusive FLEX liner.
The Bell Moto 9 has long set the standard for premium motocross helmets, but the engineers at Bell Helmet have evolved the Moto 9 several steps further with the Moto 9 Flex. Equipped with three layers of unique EPO, EPP and EPS lining, the Flex does a far superior job of managing the forces absorbed by the head during a crash. High-speed, mid-speed, and low-speed impact absorption of the Flex is superior to that of the previous Moto 9. Even more exciting yet, is the new liner’s excellent ability to absorb the forced from rotational impacts. Add in the extra comfort provided by the split-style liner, which is able to adapt to different head shapes better than anything else we’ve tried, and the Moto 9 Flex is an amazing piece of protective equipment.
Through the years, we’ve crash tested multiple Bell Moto 9 Carbon Flex helmets and have come away each and every time completely pleased with the helmet’s protective qualities.
As the old ad slogan goes: “If you have a $10 head, wear a $10 helmet.” The Bell Moto 9 Carbon Flex helmet is worth every penny. Dirt bikes are dangerous…protect yourself.
